Day 1 : Nairobi – Samburu game reserve

Pick up at 0700hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve to arrive at around 1300 hours in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy’s zebra Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Dinner and overnight at a luxury Camp/Lodge.

Day 2 : Samburu game Reserve

Full day spent exploring the park – morning and afternoon game drives are offered.
The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage.

Day 3: Samburu Sweetwater’s

After breakfast drive to Mt Kenya. Afternoon game drive at Sweet water’s game ranch to see the wildlife including rehabilitated chimpanzees. We spend the night at lodge/luxury camp.

The private ranch at Sweet water’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area.

Day 4: Mt Kenya – Lake Nakuru National park.

Drive to Lake Nakuru National park. Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake on the edges of Nakuru town and lies a distance of 160 kilometers from Nairobi. The lake is world famous as home to millions of flamingos. The number of flamingos depends on the water level which determines the quantity of algae on which the birds feed. Flamingos are known to migrate to other Rift Valley lakes whenever the water level is low. The National Park surrounds the lake and was gazetted to protect the colony of flamingos as well as provide sanctuary for endangered species such as the rhino. There are about 25 white and black rhinos, one of the largest concentrations in the country. Predators are also residents to this park while Rothschild’s giraffe have been trans-located into the park for safety

Day 5 : Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve

We depart soon after breakfast and travel south through the beautiful Savannah and plains of the Rift Valley and reach our lodge/luxury camp in good time for lunch, afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 6 & 7 : Masai Mara national park

Spend the next two days on game drives exploring the Masai Mara. The open grasslands are home to incredibly rich and varied wildlife and the awesome, annual migration of millions of wildebeest and antelopes are the highlights of any visit to Kenya from July to September.

Day 8 : Masai Mara- Lake Naivasha (Hell’s Gate National park)

Proceed to Lake Naivasha with a visit to hell’s gate national park- this park can be explored on foot or by cycling- bicycles are available for hire at an extra cost.

Day 9: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National park

Drive to Amboseli national park via Nairobi.

Amboseli is the magnificent park at the foot hills of Mt.Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight.
This small park (at 392 sq km) is the second most popular park in Kenya after Masai Mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary.

Day 10 : Amboseli National park

Today you spend full day in Amboseli with early morning and evening game drives. Whilst in the park, you will have the opportunity to photograph the animals against the wonderful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 11 : Amboseli – Nairobi

Morning game drive in Amboseli after Breakfast and depart depart for Nairobi arriving in late afternoon.
